Los Angeles based artist Cecelia webber takes nude photos of the human body and assembles them in the shape of flowers and butterflies, to create some of the most stunning images you’ve ever seen. Each composition can take up to two months to produce, and involves photographing scores of poses; digitally cutting, rotating, and coloring the resulting images; and assembling all of the components together into the finished piece.
The most difficult part is orchestrating the relationships between the different poses, And thinking of the human body as a three dimensional object collapsed into a 2D plane to form a shape Webber says. She has recently created a series on birds and butterflies out of human nudes and plans an entire exhibition of sea creatures.
Here are some of the mind-blowing flowers and animals from human nudes created by Cecelia webber. You can also see her new images on personal website.
