Philippe Faraut is a figurative artist residing in France, specializing in life-size portrait sculptures and monumental stone sculptures. Philippe received his degree in woodcarving and the construction of French fine furniture from Germain Sommeillier in Annecy, France, his boyhood home.
Philippe uses stone and bronze to make these amazing portrait sculptures and each portrait sculpture size is about six-inch. Philippe’s work can be found at the National Sculpture Society’s Annual Exhibitions and the American Portrait Society’s Annual Exhibit, both in New York City, and at the Brookgreen Gardens in South Carolina.
