Eccentric New Chalk Characters on the Streets of Ann Arbor by David Zinn

22

Michigan illustrator David Zinn previously had brightened the streets of Ann Arbor with his off-the-wall or technically on-the-wall chalk drawings since 1987. The craftsman works with chalk or charcoal to make site-particular fine arts that typically join encompassing elements like splits, road base, or discovered articles.

Zinn told Business Insider that he picks areas that are either unremarkable or not entirely obvious (breaks, controls, or pipe covers), and invents interesting ways to incorporate his imaginary friends into the landscape.

Here are some cute and funny creatures created by David Zinn.
